QB2008 Upgrade Info
- The Multi-currency feature is not supported in QuickBooks 2008
- Company files with transactions in foreign currency can not be upgraded
Until the Multi-currency feature is re-introduced there are a number of options for Multi-currency users:
- Multi-currency users who are aware of the loss of this function, but still wish to upgrade to QuickBooks 2008, should start a new file in one currency.
- Customers who are working with QuickBooks 2006 and using Multi-currency will continue to be supported until this functionality is added back into the QuickBooks product.
- QuickBooks 2006 will be available to purchase for any new customers who require Multi-currency.
OTHER IMPORTANT UPGRADE INFORMATION:
- Only company files from QuickBooks 2004 or later can be upgraded to QuickBooks 2008
- To upgrade files from earlier version of Quickbooks please contact support@quickbooks.co.ke
- Units of measure / Sales Orders & Stock Assembly Units are now only available in QuickBooks Premier 2008
- Upgraded company files will NOT migrate memorised reports. After you upgrade the company file you must re-create and memorise the report in QuickBooks 2008.
